UNDERC Researcher Stuart Jones Receives 1.5M NSF Grant

UNDERC researchers study aquatic ecology on many lakes in northern Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan.

Stuart Jones, Associate Professor of Biology and Associate Director of Aquatic Research at UNDERC, is one of several Principal Investigators on a grant awarded by the National Science Foundation to study the health of recreational fisheries in northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is a multiorganizational interdisciplinary study, including other researchers from other institutions: Chris Solomon from the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, Marco Janssen of Arizona State University, Olaf Jensen of Rutgers University, and Sunny Jardine of the University of Washington.
