UNDERC endeavors to create a safe and healthy environment that fosters education and research activities for undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, staff, technicians and senior researchers. Moreover, UNDERC seeks to create a community that honors the human dignity of each member and that is characterized by a love of truth, active care and concern for the common good, and service toward others. 

The UNDERC Conduct Policy and UNDERC Laboratory Integrated Safety Plan are designed to achieve these goals.
